Bunnahabhain 12

Distillery: Bunnahabhain

Expression: 12 year old

Vol: 40%

Fresh, citrus fruit. A big sea wind note, salty, coastal. Some licorice or anise. Lemon & lime, malt.
Heavy malt, a slight bitterness, salty licorice. Citrus fruit again, vanilla now as well. A bit drying and prickly towards the end.
The slight bitter note is here again, but it’s still fresh. The sea breeze is back. Vanilla and malt together with that bit of licorice is left at the end.
This is not bad. The salty tang is nice, so is the citrus note. Not a very big gun though.
